Recruitment services
The GSSC provides recruitment services to UNDP and its partner entities, ensuring efficient and policy-aligned recruitment experiences for both hiring units and prospective candidates. In 2024, the Centre processed 2,593 recruitment requests from UNDP and 10 UN partner agencies.
The GSSC’s global reach and specialized Recruitment Teams strategically positioned in nine locations, provide multilingual services in Arabic, English, French, Portuguese and Spanish, covering a wide range of contract modalities.
Contract categories
- International Professional (IP) positions globally.
- National Officer and General Support (GS) positions globally.
- Personnel Services Agreements (PSA) recruitments globally (except short-term PSAs).
We provide:
- Each team offers end-to-end recruitment support, including:
- Guidance and advice to hiring managers on appropriate recruitment strategies.
- Posting of vacancy announcements.
- Managing long listing and short-listing processes.
- Coordinating technical assessments.
- Facilitation of interviews and preparation of reports.
- Administering AFT (Accountancy and Finance Test) and AAFT (Advanced Accountancy and Finance Test) for UNDP positions.
- Conducting reference checks and SEA/SH screenings (Clear Check).
- Supporting compliance reviews as required.
