Supplier management

The GSSC provides centralized, high-volume processing of supplier approvals for UNDP and two UN partner entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency across global operations. The GSSC also manages supplier onboarding, performance reviews, risk assessment, and supplier relationship management. These services ensure compliance and contract standards, resulting in faster processing, reduced manual tasks, and improved compliance in over 170 countries. 

In 2024, the GSSC processed 106,000 supplier management transactions with a 93.2% completion rate.

We provide:  

Supplier Management Support: including registration, updates, enquiries and sanctions screening.
Dashboards & Reports: tools such as the Supplier Dashboard and Sanctions Screening Report enhance visibility and mitigate potential compliance risks.
Automated Sanction Screening of Existing Suppliers: Over 700,000 active suppliers in Quantum database are screened against the UN Global Marketplace (UNGM) and the UNDP Interim Sanction List on monthly basis. Alerts are sent to client offices for verification, helping to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.
A Self-Service Supplier Management Portal: allows suppliers to update key details and track transactions, significantly reducing client offices workload, manual data entry, and errors.
