GSSC Recruitment Services
Our Recruitment service teams are responsible for delivering talent sourcing and acquisition services to the Country Offices and Regional Hubs. With a customer-centric perspective, we strive to provide efficient recruitment experiences to both Hiring Units and prospective candidates, ensuring alignment with the policies and the recruitment & selection framework of UNDP.
Our service teams are present in every region and offer a comprehensive range of services in English, French and Spanish languages designed to support Hiring Units in their talent acquisition efforts:
PSA recruitments, with the exception of the short-term PSAs
National Officer and General Service Fixed-Term Appointment (FTA) and Temporary Appointment (TA) positions for all Country Offices and Regional Hubs.
International Professional Fixed-Term Appointment (FTA) and Temporary Appointment (TA) positions for all Country Offices and Regional Hubs, with the exception of:
General Support (GS) and rotational International Professional (FTA) positions at HQ locations, and P4+ positions at regional locations that are managed by the Central Recruitment Unit, BMS/OHR.
Positions that are part of special centrally managed people and talent programmes, including JPO Programme, SDP Programme, expert secondments, fellowship programmes, Graduate Program, etc. (managed by the Talent Acquisition and People Programmes (TAPP) Unit in BMS/OHR).
Regional Recruitment Teams
Divided into seven teams to cater to the needs of Country Offices and Regional Hubs in each region, the Recruitment Team provides the following services in English, French and Spanish for Regular PSA and General Service Fixed-Term Appointment (FTA) and Temporary Appointment (TA):
Guidance and advice to Hiring Managers on appropriate recruitment strategies.
Vacancy Announcement posting.
Long-listing.
Short-listing arrangements.
Technical assessment arrangements (including screening for plagiarism).
Interview scheduling, facilitation and report drafting.
Facilitation of AFT (Administrative and Finance Test) and AAFT (Advanced Administrative and Finance Test) examinations.
Reference checks and screening for SEA and SH (aka Clear Check).
Compliance review facilitation, if necessary.
Global Recruitment Team
The Global Recruitment Team provides focused recruitment services for International Professional FTA/TA, National Officer and General Service FTA/TA positions and additionally assists with the following activities in addition to the above listed activities under Regional Recruitment Team:
Validation of accounting and finance credentials in addition to facilitation of AFT and AAFT examinations.
Serve as liaising focal point for agency recruitments seeking improvements and providing tracking support.
Monitoring local compliance review cases and provides guidance to local human resources focal points on applicability of compliance reviews.
Compliance review submissions for International Professional (FTA) recruitments.
